My name is Andrew Nielsen. I am a pediatric occupational therapist and Dad to 4.
I graduated from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences with a masters degree in occupational therapy (OT). OT in pediatrics looks at the whole child across physical, cognitive, mental, social, and sensory contexts. We provide customized interventions that help children overcome barriers whether they are predominantly cognitive, physical, or a little bit of a lot of things.
Most of the world's parents don't have access to high quality care for their children's needs whether they have a disability or are considered typically developing. For those that do, many of those services are terribly inconvenient to access, so that also hampers things for parents and kids alike.
This website and blog has been made to serve parents and professionals who serve children across the world. The more we invest in kids, the more we change our homes, communities, and world for the better.
Let's make this world better for our kids and the children of the world!
