Specialized Professional Training
I am a pediatric occupational therapist. This is a specialist level role in healthcare. In the pediatric population, I'm looking at things like physical status, cognitive status, social functioning, and other factors that impact all of the above like sensory processing and self-regulation. I graduated with my master's in occupational therapy from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences. The combination of lived experience as a parent with my skills as an OT (having seen hundreds of kids with a vast range of abilities and disabilities) means I can provide a unique and objective perspective on your parenting challenges. Most of my content is free in the articles I write.
Family man at heart.
If I could do anything, I would always choose to spend a little more time with my family. Preferably, if we're at the beach or at a lake somewhere enjoying sunshine, water, and good times!
I'm committed to lifelong learning about parenting and child development.
My career is child development. It makes sense that I'm all in on continuous learning in the areas of parenting and helping kids grow and succeed in learning and life. As much as you want to do and be everything for your kids, there's only so many hours in a day. Let me be one source of information that helps you maximize your time without missing out on any of the latest and greatest parenting concepts, ideas, or new strategies.
Realize there are other stressors in life.
As parents, other huge stressors can be things like financial topics like being able to make enough or more money, saving enough money for various things in life, and so much more. I will also strive to write articles that help you succeed as parents in these other important areas of life in addition to parenting topics, child development, and related areas. As a bonus for you, I got my bachelor's in business prior to doing my master's in occupational therapy in addition to working for several high growth startups for a few years. Entrepreneurship runs in my blood and veins. I can help you with business and marketing stuff, easy-peasy lemon squeezy! Parenting kids is much harder than biz and marketing.

I want you, my readers, to achieve competence in timeless principles that lead to the strongest parent-child connections and family relationships possible! There is no better place to invest your time, money, and energy than in your family relationships! To that end, I write articles and put my efforts toward creating content that will help you succeed as a person, a parent, and a family!
